Pauline Hanson was elected to the House of Representatives as the Member for Oxley (Qld) in 1996, serving first as an Independent and then as a Member of Pauline Hanson's One Nation Party until the end of her term in 1998. She was elected to the Senate to represent Queensland for Pauline Hanson's One Nation Party from 2016.
